Strawberry Margarita Cupcakes

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Strawberry Margarita Cupcakes!

My version is to substitute lime juice for part of the liquid in Magnolia's Vanilla Cupcake recipe, top with fresh strawberry buttercream enhanced with a splash of Cointreau, and add sparkling sugar around the edges. Tequila may also be added to the cake batter.

Salud! Es muy delicioso!

If I were there with you and had my way, we'd be mange'ing on those cupcakes, and slurping on strawberry margaritas. (drool) :) They look beautifully, lusciously delicious!
